In this series, educators will explore different materials as the Teaching Beyond the Square team facilitates a discussion on how to lead these encounters in the classroom.
Goals: Participants will learn about a variety of materials that they can bring back into their classrooms. There will be an emphasis on process over product, open-ended experiences, and appropriate language to use with children in these settings.

About the Facilitator
Jennifer Carvajal is the Senior Educational Director of Teaching Beyond the Square and is on the Board of Directors. Jennifer has a passion for literacy, emergent curriculum, and open-ended learning experiences. She has coached for Teaching Beyond the Square since 2013, leading professional development workshops and partnering with teachers and directors across the globe as they strive to take a more progressive approach to education.
