Self-Regulation: Links to Behavior and Mental Health

Behavior and Mental Health

Participants will explore core concepts in the social and emotional development of young children including emotion regulation, behavior, and mental health. This workshop will emphasize a relational perspective when discussing applications of workshop content. Anxiety, for children and adults as well, will be explored in terms of goodness-of-fit between the developing child, teacher-student and family relationships, and environments in which children learn and grow.
