Foundations of Child Development

Participants will gain a broad understanding of the development of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers through a whole child perspective that situates cognitive, social and emotional, and motor development in family and community context. Behavior management will be addressed through a developmental lens.

Dr. Erika Bocknek LMFT is the founder of Convo, a mental health and child development consultation practice. For nearly two decades, Dr. Bocknek has been a university professor, international speaker, academic journal editor, and prolific researcher, noted for her expertise in social and emotional development, impacts of stress and trauma, and resilience at home and in school and community settings.
