Children’s Behavior and Positive Psychology

Participants will explore the development of positive psychology principles in early childhood including wonder, creativity, and joy. Application strategies discussed in this workshop will consider potential impacts on mental health, learning, and development for growing children and their important adults. Behavior management principles will be extended in this workshop through strength-based strategies that prevent rather than react to common challenges that teachers may face.
